A Guide for Cvt Test Wiring Using the Instrument Module
The instrument module is designed as a user interface. Its power rating is the same as the device, but with a single calibration, you can perform all relevant routine tests in a much shorter time with a lower calibration error percentage
First, install the Base module on the front panel of the device so that the male banana connectors of the Base module fit into the indicated part.
Then, install three 18650 lithium batteries, 4.2 volts, 2000 mAh, in the indicated order from right to left.
Install the relevant module, which in this test is the CVT or CT module, on the Base module, then tighten the three screws of the transformer module,
and finally turn on the module. Here, you will see four boxes that indicate the battery charge percentage, each box indicating 25% of the battery charge
Also, when you connect the battery charger to the module, the corresponding box will start blinking depending on the battery charge percentage, and when the battery is fully charged, all boxes will blink.
Warning: Do not use the module to perform tests while the batteries are charging.
The reason for using batteries on the module is to isolate the module's power supply from the device's power supply and eliminate noise
Important Notes:
● The Base module's optical sensor must be placed directly over the device's Error light.
● The first time the batteries are installed on the module, even if they are fully charged, due to the defined protection, a charger must be connected to the module once for the module to turn on.
Now, to perform calibration, enter the Setting window from the software's start page, click on Apply Calibration Instrument in the Hardware tab, and after 5 seconds, the calibration will be complete.
Enter the CVT room, set the Type Device to 205AMT, and in the Accessories section, set the Version Mode Easy to CT _205_ Ver01.
Note that calibrating the module is only necessary once and should only be done if the device or base module has been replaced
To connect each end of the CVT (Voltage Transformer) to the module, we require two wires: a voltage wire and a current wire. For instance, from the P1 end of the capacitive voltage transformer, two wires (one for voltage and one for current) are connected to the P1 outputs of the module.
The connections for 2P, 1S, and 2S are similar to the 1P connections.
Finally, the C1 and C0 terminals of the module are connected to one of the capacitors in the capacitor bank.
